Mercury Conjoined Drops
Mercury dimes – coins minted from 1916-1945 – are split and reassembled into a swinging statement pair of earrings. Light enough to be comfortable, but interesting enough to have passersby stop to ask where you got them!
Side note: Though they are commonly referred to as Mercury dimes, the image that the coin designer was using was that of a young lady Liberty (she just looks like a Roman god!)
Made with great care and precision in Philadelphia – though the artist swears she didn’t move there for closer access to the US Mint.
